The Boutique escape Il Palagio di Panzano is located in the heart of Tuscany, halfway between Florence and Siena and just a few kilometers from Panzano in Chianti, a small village considered by insiders to be one of the most fascinating (and fortunately well-hidden) places in Chianti.
Set amidst the hills and the enchanting Conca d’oro and surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden, Il Palagio di Panzano is an elegant and refined retreat for those wishing to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life, in search of a charming and relaxing holiday.
Villa
In order to preserve its architectural complexity, Il Palagio di Panzano has been completely renovated, preserving traces of the past and bringing historical elements back to light. It accommodates up to 20 people in five spacious and tastefully furnished apartments. The Tuscan architecture blends perfectly with the modern comfort of the interiors and the relaxed atmosphere. Each unit has its own identity and history, with Franco complementing the furnishings with original furniture and objects purchased in antique markets and combining them with contemporary design techniques and details. The inner courtyard, the garden with swimming pool and relaxation area, the small vegetable garden where you can pick seasonal vegetables, and the shady pergola are at the guests’ disposal to spend hours of serenity surrounded by a truly unique landscape.
This villa is fantastic for all those who want to enjoy nature, art and Tuscan cuisine. Thanks to the in-house chef, guests can enjoy traditional Chianti dishes that are either custom-cooked or specially designed to match the estate’s wines.
Events
It is possible to rent our farmhouse exclusively. More and more families or groups of friends are looking for a suitable place where they can spend time together, where they can have large spaces available and numerous bedrooms to give everyone the right amount of privacy and comfort. Il Palagio di Panzano is ideal for all special occasions such as family gatherings, workshops, company meetings, small groups for themed events (wine, food, yoga, creativity). The exclusive rental of the villa provides tailor-made services.
Apartments
The apartments are different in size and architectural features. All bathrooms have been recently renovated with a modern design that creates a harmonious contrast with the Tuscan style of the ambience. Our holiday accommodations are self-catering. For those who desire greater comfort, we will be happy to offer breakfast service in the apartment with a rich tray of seasonal delicacies, or dinner with specialities from our area paired with our wines.
Tuscan Authenticity
During your stay you will immerse yourself in the warm and familiar atmosphere of Il Palagio di Panzano. We would like you to feel the love that we, Monia and Franco, feel and dedicate to this farmhouse steeped in history. The exposed stones, old beams, fireplaces together with the doors, wardrobes and cupboards restored by Franco, are original elements that contribute to the unique atmosphere of the house. The five apartments are Tottolo, La Torre, Belvedere, Capanna and Il Piccolo.

The perfect choice to enjoy lots of privacy and a wonderful view of the Chianti hills. The bedroom in the tower is the most charming in the house: feel like Rapunzel in the heart of Tuscany! Il Piccolo “Studio”
The smallest accommodation in the farmhouse. A cosy and intimate nest with a true Tuscan atmosphere! Ground floor studio overlooking the courtyard with dining table, two armchairs, well-equipped kitchenette, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, private area of garden (no direct access from the apartment). TV and wifi.

* You can tailor your holiday with us by renting a single apartment or the exclusive use of the farmhouse according to your preferred dates and needs. In high season, a minimum stay of 7 nights is required for the apartments and 4 nights for the exclusive use of the farmhouse. A special price is reserved for stays of 7 nights or more. All of the above prices are subject to seasonal variations, length of stay, form of rental and services chosen.
